The creation of the Associazione musicale Forum Musica with the sponsorship of the Province of Rome and the Town of Ciampino, the Ciampino Jazz Festival will open its doors from June 22 to 24.
This year, tribute is being paid to Antonello Crescenzi, recently passed – a highly-esteemed and talented musician, as well as the festival’s artistic director for the last three years.
Once again this year, the primary objective is the invaluable work of spreading a love of music among young people by hosting top-quality performers from around the world.
The event – held over three evenings – will open Friday, June 22 at 9 pm with Linda Valori (Jazz Project) along with Samuele Garofali, Roberto Desiderio, Gabriele Pesaresi and Emilio Marinelli.
On the second evening, Saturday, June 23 at 9 pm, stepping up on the stage of the Sala Convegni in the Ciampino Town Hall will be Daniele Di Gregorio (Marimba) – Massimo Manzi with Maurizio Marrani, Giacomo Dominici – Quartet.
The festival will conclude Sunday, June 24 at 9 pm with the presence of Joyce Jullie with Teo Ciavarella, Domingo Muzietti, Massimo Giovannini and Massimo Manzi – Quintet.
