“Con...testi Diversi”: literary bonanza

Over the weekend of May 7 and 8, Colonna Castle in Genazzano will be turned into a major cultural attraction when it hosts the Fair of Small and Medium-Sized Publishers and Independent Bookshops, held in addition to the large exhibition "Passato-Presente. Dialoghi d'Abruzzo", on display in the rooms on the Piano Nobile (until July 3) and the Tribute to Jose Saramago, taking the form of the works of ten artists from different countries.
The Fair, promoted by the Prenestino Library system and the Montana Community with the patronage of the Municipality of Genazzano, will comprise over 30 stands and offers visitors the chance to meet authors, participate in bookcrossing activities, animated readings for children and concerts.
Specific events include: the presentation of the book by Giorgio Di Vita  “Non con un lamento” - Peppino Impastato, vertigini di memorie" (Saturday at 11:00);  and the presentation of “Ci scappa l'acqua” in the presence of the publication’s young authors, children and kids who have worked on the project (Sunday at 10.00 in the local library).
There will also be a presentation of the Guide to the city of Genazzano and the Contemporary Art Centre in Colonna Castle, a new book in the collection promoted to encourage awareness and understanding about the various museums involved, giving information about their history and their collections.
