“Green Days” in Veio Park

Giorni Verdi nel Parco di Veio (Green Days in the Veio Park) sees a program of excursions and guided activities which are part of the “Giorniverdi nei Parchi del Lazio” (Green Days in Lazio’s Parks) project. The project is coordinated by the Regional Parks Agency and promoted by the Councilor’s Office for the Environment and Sustainable Development and is geared towards developing educational and social tourism in the parks, reserves and natural monuments of the Lazio region. The excursions bringing 2012 to a close will be held during November and December. 
 
Through this program, the Park Authorities are offering citizens the chance to experience the Park by taking part in guided tours for which members of the public pay a reduced price ticket. 
 
 
The guided tours are being run in conjunction with the tour operator, Viaggiare in natura. The activities included in the calendar are organized by skilled operators, and are for a limited number of participants who must book in advance.

A photographic excursion into the forest of Sacrofano, to learn the basics of naturalistic photography, portraits with natural light and how to include people in the landscape context.

A stroll in the old village which was once a medieval fortress, owned by the powerful family of Barons, the Orsinis, which later passed into the possession of the Farnese family.
