Ciak al Castello (Action! at the Castle) is the title of the exhibition celebrating 50 years of cinema at Bracciano’s Odescalchi Castle.
The exhibition will be taking centre stage in the majestic Odescalchi Castle until January 6, 2013. The castle has been the location of choice for many films which, over the course of the years, have helped make Italian film history.
'Venere imperiale', 'The Agony and the Ecstasy', 'La cintura di castità', 'More Than a Miracle' and 'Elisa di Rivombrosa' are just some of the films made at Bracciano’s Odescalchi Castle.
With the Ciak al Castello exhibition, spectators will be able to experience the sets themselves through film clips, photos and costumes from filming done in the rooms and outdoor areas, which were often reinvented by directors and art directors
