These are the grounds of the 16th C. Villa Aldobrandini.
The Water Theatre, located behind the palazzo, backed by a small hill, is a spectacular semicircular architectural composition with niches complete with columns and inserts, decorations, statues and water works.
Many plant varieties can be found in the Villa Aldobrandini park, an essential element of one of the most moving and successful “Italianate gardens”;
By the Villa there are also a few holm-oak woods, which gradually give way to the Tuscolo Pine Forest, which starts at 480 metres above sea level. The location is an urban villa, so the animal population is typical of tree lined gardens.
