The Baronial Palace is the centre around which the town of Casape grew up.
Extending over two floors, the palace incorporates the church (ex Church of St. Peter) on the ground floor, while the residential apartments are on the piano nobile (first floor).
The palace has belonged to the Colonna family (1300) and the Barberini family (1632) who sold it to Pio da Carpi (1655), then to Spanish families and finally became property of the Brancaccio family.
