At 9.30 Concert by the Eretina Musical band conducted by Carmelo D’Eugenio, throughout the city streets
At 10.30 flag raising at the war monument in the “Parco della Rimembranza” in the presence of local civic and military dignitaries
At 16.00 In the Council Hall of Orsini-Barberini Palace, presentation of the programme of events to mark the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. Speeches will be made by the mayor Mauro Alessandri, the local council chief Mario Seidita, the council’s cultural spokesman Riccardo Varone and the education spokeswoman Anna Foggia.
At 17.00 In the Council Hall of Orsini-Barberini Palace: in collabroation with the “Novo Mancini” cinema and “Mediaservice” a screening of “1860” by Alessandro Blasetti

At 21.00 In the Council Hall of Orsini-Barberini Palace: concert given by the Fanfara dei Bersaglieri from Poggio Mirteto conducted by Giuseppe De Simone with the participation of the singer Savina Valeo
Saturday 19 March
At 18.00 In the Council Hall of Orsini-Barberini Palace: presentation of the book by Valentina Tonelli “Virginia Buffa – Storia di una donna delusa in amore nel sogno nascente della Patria”. The author will be present, as well as the provincial councillor Ruggero Ruggeri, Antonio Lagrasta and Piero Muscolino. There will also be music from the Banda Musicale Eretina conducted by Carmelo D’Eugenio
From March 17 there will be also be an exhibition of documents outlining the local history of the 150 years of Italian unification on display in the Sala dei Servitori, overseen by the “Armonia” cultural association and Prof. Giancarlo Alù.
