Celebrating Novello wine at the Province of Rome Enoteca

On November 5, 2010, the Province of Rome Enoteca will be hosting the “La Festa del Novello” (celebration of Novello wine), an invitation only opportunity to taste the new season’s wines from the province of Rome area, served with typical produce such as chestnuts, cheeses and honey. Then from November 6 to 20, there will be tastings open to the general public.
On November 22, the invitation only event will revolve around the theme “The women of wine from the Province of Rome” (Le Donne del vino della Provincia di Roma”) offering tastings of win from companies which are members of the association Donne del Vino della Provincia di Roma, again served along with typical produce. From November 23 to 30 the tastings will be open to the public.
The Province of Rome Enoteca, created with the collaboration of the Province of Rome, the Regional Agency for Development and Innovation in Lazio’s Agriculture (ARSIAL) and Palatium, is located in the unique, picturesque setting of Valentini Palace, right in front of the ancient Trajan Market and Trajan’s Column in Rome.
