The little Chapel of St. Mary of Cavamonte can be found on Via Prenestina in Gallicano nel Lazio, close to the turning for Zagarolo. Its position, tucked among walls of sandstone, make it extremely picturesque.
The ruins of a single arched bridge, the Ponte del Fico, which date to the time of Silla, can be found nearby. Further along, there is another Roman bridge, the Ponte Amato, which was used as a continuation of the ancient Via Prenestina.
