The parish church dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption in Rocca Priora dates to the end of 1400s. It has undergone various changes over the centuries, the most substantial of which took place between the 1700 and 1800's, and damaged the severe Romanic style which was only re-established with the last round of restoration.
In contrast to its modern look, the church's interior still contains areas of architecture dating to 1500s, while its foundations are those of a Latin temple dedicated to Goddess of Fortune.
