The little Church of Our Lady of Peace, situated in the valley South East of Riano, has an extremely simple architectural structure and interior decoration.
The name of the church makes it very likely that the village suffered a calamity of some sort that prompted its building and the choice of its dedication. It appears that the entire population of Riano participated in constructing the church which has very simple lines with white walls and a single nave. There are two altars positioned to the left and right of the nave and a painting of the Virgin on the main altar.
The church has been restored in recent times and is now in excellent condition.
