The Church of St. Mary de Arce in San Vito Romano gains its name from its position on the historical parade ground of the Colonna family.
The first phase of its construction dates back to the 15th century.
It has a single facade with embedded columns at the corners. More protruding embedded columns also flank the portal.
A curved tympanum crowns the portal with the Theodoli crest in the centre.
The interior of the church has an arched ceiling, and a semicircular apse with bowl. The nave and two aisles all have three altars and there is a large chapel that opens to the right.
