Gnocchi festival in Canterano

 
Gnocchi and much more – “porchetta” whole roast pig and mixed fry – all to be enjoyed with good wine offered by the festival’s organizers. The event August 16 in Canterano promises to be much more than just a gnocchi festival. It will be the ninth time the festival is held and this year, starting at 7 pm, in addition to the classic gnocchi in a plain or lamb sauce, there will also be stands offering porchetta, mixed deep-fried foods and much, much more. Admission is free, and to close this special evening there will be “I Beatles a Roma”, a tribute to the most famous rock group in the world, and a fireworks display.
