Delicious hazelnuts are produced both in the Province of Rome and that of Latina, but the greatest concentration is in the municipality of Labico, a place with a perfect climate and the right environmental conditions with volcanic materials in the soil to give the nuts a unique and unmistakable flavour.

You shouldn’t miss the Feast of the Hazelnut held in Labico at the start of September. The event is a chance to taste the hazelnuts used in a variety of different recipes and is also an opportunity to learn more about one of the most important agricultural activities in the Province of Rome, which is also DOP certified.
