The Province of Rome rallies to help the producers of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese struck by the earthquake.
And in fact, everything is ready at the Enoteca Provincia Romana where on July 18, 19 and 20 it will be possible to purchase the product sold directly by the Consorzio del Parmigiano Reggiano (Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese Consortium).
An important gesture of solidarity which gives us the opportunity to offer a small contribution to the producers of a brand that has made the culinary history of our country.
At Foro Traiano, right opposite the Enoteca Provincia Romana, these three days of tastings and solidarity will be organized as follows:
Wednesday, July 18, 7.30 pm to 10 pm
Thursday, July 19, 9 am to 10 pm
Friday, July 20, 9 am to 5 pm
This initiative is part of the activity plan implemented by the Province of Rome to help Emilia: since 20 May, equipment and volunteers have been sent by the Protezione Civile (Italian Civil Protection National Service); the Administration is also engaged in fund raising through a solidarity fashion show, while over the last few days a facility has been set up in Carpi to accommodate a dialysis center.
Moreover, the employees of the Province of Rome have also been given the opportunity to dedicate an hour’s worth of their salary to the support of the populations hit by the earthquake, with the initiative “SoS Emilia – 1 ora per la ricostruzione" (SOS Emilia – 1 hour towards reconstruction”.
