For over 25 years the Associazione Pleiadi Arte has been promoting the love of painting, photography, sculpture and all types of individual craftsmanship and with a drive which, once again this year, has resulted in the Biennale di Pomezia (Pomezia Biennial), now in its third year.

The brainchild of its founder, master artist Paolo Sommaripa, with the support of the Arts Council of the town of Pomezia, the event will open on Tuesday, May 15 at 6:30 pm and continue through May 30, 2012 in Pomezia's Torre Civica (Town Tower).

The Biennial offers the ideal setting for works that transmit new ideas in communication, bringing the inspiration and creativity of the artists to the fore and offering a return to the joy of depicting things of beauty, while offering a wide range of techniques and styles to present an overview of beauty in all its myriad aspects.
