Riano: Festival nelle Cave

July 24 “Capitan Fracassa” with Lello Arena, Fabrizio Vona and Francesco Di Trio; July 26 “Mandragola” directed by Ugo Chiti; July 27 the “Gran Galà” of the Roma Chamber Orchestra; July 29 “Le mattine dieci alle quattro” by Luca De Bei: these are the stars of the 5th Festival Teatro nelle Cave taking place in Riano where performances will be given in a working quarry made available by Italtufo Riano Srl, at kilometer 5.300 along the Via Rianese.
 
 
The festival has the backing of the Lazio Region Office of Arts and Culture and the Province of Rome and this year's festival is especially significant given that it was only recently decided not to turn the area into a waste dump.
