The Sanctuary to Our Lady of Graces soars over Allumiere and was built on the site of one of the numerous chapels dedicated to the Virgin built between 1400 and 1500 by the alum mine.  The Church and Convent were built in 1710.
Behind the building is the Park of Remembrance, which commemorates the citizens of Allumiere who died in the two world wars.
