It was built in the 17th C. by Mons. Bartolomeo Cesi and after many changes of ownership among the noble Roman families and banking families, the villa finally became a functional asset for the Anzio Council.
Now the villa houses a number of Council offices and the Allied Landing Museum. The structure has also been upgraded to multipurpose Cultural Centre for permanent and multi-faceted exhibitions/installations, art shows, projections, seminars and conferences.
